Most mods such as a Tail Tidy or pegs are made of high quality and mostly powder coated to prevent corrosion, but the bolts they use are usually made of cheese and will corrode in no time. I always replace them with Marine Grade Stainless Steel bolts or even sometimes Titanium. The bolts on the right show the difference between the standard shiny bolts and the SS ones I will replace them with.

Many times, we carry stuff one way and we don’t need to have a cumbersome backpack with us all the time, so you simply clip this to your trousers, and when needed, expand and use. In case of the jacket, I used the larger duffle bag.
